Dianne Bernhard

Executive Director

Responsible for fulfilling the mission, providing leadership, overseeing the functions of the organization, strategizing for future growth, and operating C.O.P.S. under the direction of the National Board.

Barbie Squires

Deputy Director

Work with Executive Director to make management decisions, advise directors on improving current processes,  and oversees daily operations at the National Office.

Administrative

Amy Hadfield

Administrative Director

Oversees day-to-day operations of the building and administers human resources and financial systems for the organization.

Robby Robinson

IT Specialist

Responsible for system and network administration, all in-house computer software and hardware systems, including upgrades, general maintenance, problem solving and trouble shooting.

Kim Capps

Financial Specialist

Responsible for the daily financial operations of the organization, from paying bills, creating cost reports, creating bank deposits, reconciliation of accounts and grant reporting.

Chapter & Survivor Support

Laurie Putnam

Chapter & Survivor Support Director

Responsible for providing support to the surviving families and law enforcement agencies who have experienced a line-of-duty death and assists with National Police Week.

Shelley Jones

Survivor Outreach Specialist

Responsible for outreach to agencies on support and education of services and benefits available to their survivors and officers after a suicide.

Alyssa Starnes

Survivor Specialist

Responsible for outreach to surviving families and law enforcement agencies on support and education available to them after a line-of-duty death, processes applications for the Scholarship program and Kids Counseling Reimbursement. 

Erin Gisselbeck

Survivor Support Assistant

Responsible for assisting the Chapter & Survivor Support Unit with data entry, projects, and mailings.

Pari Moody

Receptionist

Ensure smooth operations of functions for the National Office. Responsible for creating a positive first impression by greeting visitors, assessing their needs, and referring them to appropriate staff. Assists the Chapter & Survivor Support Unit with data entry, projects, and mailings.

Outreach

Sara Slone

Outreach Director

Responsible for maintaining a consistent message that promotes the C.O.P.S. mission to survivors, the law enforcement community, supporters, and the general public. Acts as point of contact for media contacts.

Blake Haynes

Communications Manager

Responsible for output of multimedia material via videography, photography, graphic design, website, merchandise and social media.

Lauren Crisman

Executive Partner Liaison

Responsible for assisting the Development Team by planning specified events, developing, and maintaining a comprehensive donor relationships to enhance the organization’s vision and mission. 

Nicole Dupree

Merchandise Specialist

Responsible for designing, ordering and maintaining inventory of merchandise items that promote the C.O.P.S. mission at in-person events and via the COPS SHOP online store.

Clint Schaffnit

Multimedia Specialist

Responsible for output of multimedia material via videography, photography, website design, and app creation.

Nicholas Geiger

Development Coordinator

Responsible for assisting the Development Team with organizing and executing fundraising efforts with things like writing campaigns, nurturing donor relationships, securing in-kind donations, and helping provide donors with recognition.

Angel Welch

Development Assistant

Responsible for assisting the Development Team with organizing and executing fundraising efforts with things like entering donations in the database, processing thank you letters, assisting with donor recognition, nurturing donor relationships, and securing in-kind donations.

Assists Merchandise Manager with inventory management of merchandise.

Services

Erin Barnett

Services Director

Oversees the Services Department ensuring that the Hands-On Programs, the National Police Survivors' Conference at National Police Week, and the Surviving to Thriving Conference are designed to support the needs of the C.O.P.S. membership across the nation.

Blair Sien

Programs Manager

Manages the organization and success of the Hands-On Programs, Kids/Teens Program and Day Care Programs at National Police Week, and the Surviving to Thriving Conference.

Haley Owens

Collectively works with the Programs Manager on the coordination of the Hands-On Programs, the National Police Survivors’ Conference at National Police Week, and the Surviving to Thriving Conference.

Training

Bob Currier

Training Director


Oversees the planning and delivery of training supporting the needs of law enforcement agencies across the nation and the needs of the membership of C.O.P.S. The training includes Traumas of Law Enforcement training, the C.O.P.S. National Conference on Law Enforcement Wellness and Trauma, in person and virtual training sessions for law enforcement, survivors and C.O.P.S. Chapters, and training presented by C.O.P.S. at outside law enforcement conferences.

Responsible for collectively working with the Training Director on the coordination and execution of the C.O.P.S. Traumas of Law Enforcement Trainings, C.O.P.S. National Conference on Law Enforcement Wellness and Trauma, C.O.P.S. Critical Incident Stress Management Trainings and outside law enforcement conferences.

Responsible for collectively working with the Training Director and Training Coordinator on the coordination and execution of the C.O.P.S. Traumas of Law Enforcement Trainings, C.O.P.S. National Conference on Law Enforcement Wellness and Trauma, C.O.P.S. Critical Incident Stress Management Trainings and outside law enforcement conferences.
