Become a Presenter
C.O.P.S. is currently seeking presenters for the 2025 Surviving to Thriving Conference. If you have expertise in managing grief and/or trauma, wellness, fun and engaging activities; your insight and knowledge could be an invaluable addition to our conference.
Audience
This conference is for survivors, co-workers and supporters affected by line-of-duty death as determined by C.O.P.S. criteria; 18 years and older.
Goal
The goal of this conference is to bring all survivorships together and gain more insight into how each survivor works through their grief differently. It will allow survivors the opportunity to network and gain peer support from others outside of their survivorship category.
When is the deadline to submit a presentation proposal?
The deadline to submit your proposal is June 13, 2025. We anticipate presenter spots fill quickly.

How long are breakout sessions?
Each breakout session or class will be 60 to 90 minutes long. *This is subject to change*
Do I have to submit my proposal online?
Yes. Online submission is required.
I have worked with C.O.P.S. in the past, do I still need to submit a proposal?
Yes. This allows us to have the most current information from our pool of applicants.
How will I know that my proposal was received?
You will receive a confirmation email once your proposal has been submitted electronically.
What is the acceptance process?
Each proposal will be reviewed and taken into consideration. If selected, you will be notified via phone/email.
Will C.O.P.S. cover my travel expenses?
Presenters are financially responsible for their travel to and from the conference including lodging. Your fee to attend the conference will be waived.
